Gobeli lined up as MOCS replacement

Magic Online grinder Thomas Gobeli is on standby if a MOCS competitor fails to participate, though it's looking unlikely he gets to play.

Danish Christoffer Larsen was unsure if he could participate in the MOCS finals the previous weekend, as his job as a chef on a ship could keep him at sea.

This weekend he participates in the MOCS again, but the uncertainty made Wizards line up Thomas Gobeli as an alternative competitor, should it be necessary.

An unusual situation for the Swiss, preparing for a high stake tournament, he might not play in at all.

"When they contacted me, and it looked like I might be competing, I played a good amount, but not it is unlikely I get to play anyway," Gobeli tells manaecho.com.

He is still at the ready, though, and the Magic Online grinder has one of the highest limited win rates of the field, and with 64.72%, the highest win rate in Modern.

You can find out if Gobeli gets to play, when coverage starts November 28th at 6:00 PM at Twitch .
