Magic: ManaStrike gets terminated

Wizards of the Coast launched ManaStrike in January but are now pulling the plug on their mobile multiplayer battle game.

In cooperation with Netmarble Games, Wizards of the Coast launched Magic: ManaStrike on January 30, 2020, a real-time player-versus-player game build around the lore of Magic: the Gathering.

Less than a year after its launch, the Management Team has, however, announced a termination notice in the game's official forum.

"It's with a heavy heart that we announce that support for Magic: ManaStrike is coming to an end. As of now, all in-app purchases for payment products will be disabled. The game servers will remain open until February 24th at 5:00 AM 2/23/2021 21:00 PST. You will be able to continue to access and play the game as usual until this time. Afterward, game service will no longer be available," the announcement reads.

The game had a 4.7/5 rating in the App Store.
