Super drops is the future of Secret Lair

Secret Lairs in 2021 will come in super drops, as it is happening right now with the Secretversery, Mark Heggen from Wizards reveal.

Mark Heggen, a Product Architect at Wizards of the Coast, appeared on the show Weekly MTG to talk about what we can expect next year from Secret Lair.

Currently, to celebrate the first anniversary, Wizards are running the Secretversery, a bundle of different drops simultaneously, and this will be the future approach for the product.

"We are going to shift more of our sales next year into these super drops. Our plan next year is to run them every few months, with the first one in February. It will be similar size and scale as the Secretversery, currently going on," Heggen said on Weekly MTG.

There will be some exceptions, with single drops happening alone, such as the Extra Life campaign, but most will come in super drops.

Heggen also explained that Wizards are still working on making it easier to buy the product in more parts of the world than it currently is right now.
